Jing Nie (聂晶) received her Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Pedagogy from The George Washington University and a Master of Education from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research focuses on language education, Chinese as a Foreign Language (CFL) teacher identity and language teacher education, examining how transnational experiences and educational contexts influence teacher identity development. She has extensive teaching experience in both K–12 and higher education settings, including teaching Chinese immersion classes at public schools, drill courses at The George Washington University and serving as an instructor in the Princeton in Beijing program. She has also presented her work at national conferences such as ACTFL and CLTA.
