Students who wish to participate in J.LIVE 2018 should follow these steps:
September 1-24, 2018
Semifinalists must submit the semifinal round application form filled out by September 24. You must have a video completed before you can submit the application. Please visit Video Guidelines for video instructions.
Notification of Results for Preliminary Round: October 1, 2018
The Contest Committee will announce the names of the contestants whose video submissions will move to the Semifinal Round. Semifinalists must agree (by email to [email protected] by October 5, 2018) to participate in the Final Round should they be selected as finalists.
Notification of the results of the Semifinal Round selection by a second panel of judges: October 8, 2018
The Contest Committee will notify each semifinalist as to who will move onto the Final Round. (Note: Contestants who are not selected to compete in the Final Round are encouraged to attend as audience.)
Deadline to send required materials: November 7, 2018
Finalists must submit his/her presentation PowerPoint and a short abstract in English (150 words) to [email protected] by November 7, 2018. Consult the Final Round guidelines.
November 11, 2018
The Final Round will be held at the University Student Center Amphitheater (3rd floor), on the George Washington University campus.
