When he was in New York for the China Institute book-signing, Professor Jonathan Chaves was also invited to do a video-interview to be posted on line for the "Chinafile" project, in which authors of current and recent books dealing with China are interviewed, and then the questions edited out, leaving a statement about the volume by the author.
