2017 Final Round Guidelines
Travel subsidies up to $500 are provided to the finalists depending on the location of their home institution.
Finalists must submit his/her presentation PowerPoint and a short abstract in English (150 words) to [email protected] by November 1st, 2017.
The PowerPoint dimension should be 13.33 inches x 7.5 inches. It should not exceed 25MB. If you embed a video clip, you must also send it to [email protected]. Please make sure that the video size is smaller than 50MB and it is formatted as a wmv file.

Part I - Prepared Talk Category I: Give a prepared talk in Japanese on any topic of your choice. (It does not necessarily have to be about Japan, or learning Japanese.) Your talk should be based on your personal experiences, and convey a clear message. Please make your presentation engaging and entertaining --- you may use audio-visual aids, audience-interaction, or anything else that will enhance your talk. |

You may also include supporting information or data from other sources – such as statistical data, survey results, historical information, or other people’s opinions – but you must cite such sources in your talk. Please make your presentation engaging and entertaining – you may use audio-visual aids, audience-interaction, or anything else that will enhance your talk. |
